In 2012, Mega Engineering Services (MES) completed a significant export project for a foreign client in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, involving the manufacturing and supply of FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) Straight Ladders. These ladders were specifically designed for use on petrochemical tanks as cable trays and walkways to facilitate maintenance at heights ranging from 40 feet to 150 feet above ground level.
Chemical Resistance: Built to withstand the harsh chemical environments typical of petrochemical facilities.
Despite being lightweight, the ladders provided 1.5% higher strength compared to steel alternatives, ensuring enhanced safety and reliability.
Designed for longevity without the need for frequent repairs or replacements.
The customer expressed great satisfaction with the product’s quality and performance, marking this as MES’s first export order to Saudi Arabia.
Based on the success of the initial project, MES received a repeat order from Petron Dubai Office in 2013, involving the supply of a large quantity of FRP ladders for similar petrochemical maintenance purposes.
This project not only showcased MES’s expertise in producing advanced industrial solutions but also established its reputation as a reliable supplier in the international market. The repeat order further strengthened MES’s foothold in the Middle Eastern region.
